BA-LLB Program
Duration : 5 Years
BA LLB is a post graduate integrated course of five years duration. This is a professional course which combines Bachelor of Arts and Law. It covers various arts subjects like History, Economics, Political Science, etc along with the strong basis of law and legislature. The course is not only restricted to the class rooms studies, but it also includes the mock court training, case studies, etc.
Program Educational Objectives(PEOs)
- Develop a depended understanding of law in a variety of contexts.
- Display the ability to deal with different types of legal issues and laws.
- Apply critical and contextual approaches across a wide variety of subject matter.
- Acquire necessary knowledge that is a pre-requisite to obtain Bar Council registration.
- Analyze and understand changes in regard to rule of law, economic reforms, human rights, women’s rights, rights of children, elderly, sick and disadvantaged segments of the population.

Career Opportunities
The scope in law field is extremely diverse as there are different laws in force that need specialized legal knowledge. It results in ample opportunities for B.A.L.L.B. graduates in the industry. Public and private sector both require the services of law graduates. The law graduates can seek career opportunities in courts of law and agencies, state and central alike. This degree also makes the students eligible for appointment in FPSC, defence services and SPSC. Many companies accept law graduates as company secretaries. Other than that, they are also welcomed to work with legal consultancy firms.
